B.P. Challenge Cup
Inscribed: Bridgwater Carnival. B.P. Challenge Cup.
Awarded for: Procession - Best Dressed Tractor and Driver - Local.
In 1978 the late Jim Bailey negotiated on behalf of B.P.Oil the presentation of a trophy, with this cup B.P. also donated 100 gallons of diesel. Unfortunately since the closure of Great Western Oils in Salmon Parade clubs have been unable to receive the diesel prize.
