Details
Grandstands seats for the 2012 procession will be available online from April 18th 2012, at the Carnival Centre, or by post or telephone, see below.
Prices for 2012 will be £14 per seat, we do try and keep prices low but infortunately have to make a small increase over 2011 due to increased transport costs which are out of our control.
The grandstand seats continue to increase in popularity and are mosttly sold by early October.
We hope to have 10 grandstands again this year. Seats in the stand are numbered, so seats will be reserved, in addition they have some cover so in case of inclement weather (almost unheard of on the night of Bridgwater Carnival).
The Carnival will commence at 7.00 p.m. Main roads into the town will be closed to traffic from 6.30 p.m., with road closures coming into effect from 5.30 p.m. to allow for grandstands to be positioned prior to the procession, so if you are coming please leave early to avoid disappointment.
The location of the grandstands will be the same as 2011, in order that we can open roads earlier after the procession all ten stands will be located at the Broadway East location, adjacent to Aldi between St John Street and the river bridge. This site is far more popular as it is nearer the start of the procession. See the map on the location page.
If you are purchasing stand tickets please do not arrive at the stand before 6.30 pm as the stands need to be erected and this is very difficult to achieve with people milling around, your co-operation is appreciated.
Prebook Online Only
You are able to prebook and pay for your grandstand seats online, this service applies to online booking only and is available from April 18th, postal and telephone booking will commence mid-July.
If you wish to prebook seats for the 2012 procession you can do so by going to the Shop and place your order, a one off £1 per order will be added to the bill to cover postage etc., you will receive a receipt from Paypal for your order and tickets will be dispatched from mid July.

Orders for Grandstand Seating can be placed by post to Bridgwater Carnival, 34 Somerton Close, Bridgwater TA6 4JX from mid-June onwards, Credit / Debit cards are also accepted. Further details can be obtained by emailing our Grandstand Co-ordinator, or phone on (01278) 451415 for further details.
If ordering by post please add £1 to your cheque to cover postage, all cheques should be made out in favour of B.G.F.C. Ltd.
