Audience Information
The 2010 Carnival will follow the same route as in previous years, assembling in Parkway on the Sydenham estate, ready to pull off at 7 p.m.
The "rest area" will be the same as 2009, from the junction of Broadway/Old Taunton Road to the junction of St Mary Street/Friarn Street.

Entrants Information
Procession 2010: Copies of the procession entry form and conditions of entry can be downloaded by clicking on the link below. Also a list of entries received by class is available below.
Judging Breakdown: Many people are interested to know how the entries were judged, by downloading the pdf file below you can see the breakdown for 2009.
Probably some explanation is needed; you will see the categories the entries were judged under at the top of the column. We then add the positions given and deduct the highest and the lowest position to avoid any one judge marking an entry extremely low or high and take the resulting score to calculate the final positions, with the lowest score coming first etc.
Should we get a draw we then look at the points awarded, which again have the highest and lowest scores deducted to see which of the entries scored the most points, the highest score being the winner, if again we get a draw then they will be equal.
