As no doubt you will have noticed, every year in November there is one reoccurring question which continues to crop up.
Whether you are on your way to a carnival, having a drink in the pub, or simply waiting to collect your favourite takeaway, this one question continues to be the focus of friendly conversations and indeed regularly divides opinion amongst carnivalites and the public alike.
That one question is simply, ‘what is the best entry ever to grace the streets of Bridgwater on carnival night’?
Over the years there have arguably been many worthy top contenders, but answering this simple question is not as easy as some might think.
So following our decision to postpone this year’s Bridgwater Carnival procession due to COVID-19, we are working on a unique opportunity to provide a platform to answer this question once and for all. And you will be pleased to hear, none of us will need to worry about the latest social distancing restrictions for it to happen.
