Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival – the UK’s oldest carnival

There was an amendment in 2000 that entrants in this class must obtain 4th position or above to be awarded this cup.
Matty, a 17 year old boy from South Devon, is a wonderfully complex character who has had many medical challenges in his life and faced these with strength and determination. In many ways Carnival has saved Matty in moments when he needed distraction, before operations and at scary times.
