Text Giving Page 1Bridgwater Carnival is always on the lookout for new ways of raising money and by working with DonR have given people a way of making a donation wherever they might be!

Our advert appears in our programmes and on our collection cart to bring this way of giving to our audience.

Texts cost the chosen donation amount plus one standard network rate text.

95% of donations received go direct to Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival, so on a £10 donation it would be:

Donr platform fee of 5% = 50p
– Network fees do not apply to donations made to charities.
-Total amount of donation that Donr would pass on to the charity: £9.50
– Gift Aid amount that a charity can claim on a £10 donation: £2.50
– Total amount that a charity could receive from a £10 donation to their donr page, via text payment, including Gift Aid: £12.

So why wait text now to 70085 followed by £1, £2, £3, £4, £5, £10 or £20

After making your donation you will be texted back to ask if you are willing to Gift Aid your donation, this allows us to recover the value of 25% of your donation back from HMRC so if you meet the criteria below please agree it will cost you nothing and increase your donation to us by 25%.

Please Note: To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount the charity will claim in the tax year.
