Audience Information
The procession will start at 1800 hours prompt.
Please remember that the roads around Bridgwater will start to close at 1400 hours. If you are arriving late via the M5 access to the town is from J23 only.
The 2026 Carnival procession will follow the same route as in 2025, finishing at the traffic lights at the junction of Northgate and The Clink. The assembly area will be in Parkway on the Sydenham estate.
The “rest area” starts at just past the junction of Broadway & Salmon Parade to the junction of Broadway & Old Taunton Road.

Entrants Information
To enter the carnival, please do so through The Somerset County Carnivals website. This form will be available from 1st July 2026. Entries close on 1st September 2026.
Conditions of Entry (also on the Somerset County Carnivals website) should be read before entering.
