Over 600 local carnivalites are continuing to perform to sell out audiences at the 2023 Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival Concerts.As the fortnight long concert begins its second week on Monday 9 October at Bridgwater Town Hall, all tickets for the remaining shows have already been sold.
It is exactly 140 years since the carnival concerts were first held in the town, and are nowadays traditionally seen as a curtain raiser to the eagerly anticipated annual carnival procession which this year takes place on Saturday 4 November.
The main event sponsor for this year’s concerts is Howards Motor Group, and over 4,500 tickets were available for the 12 performances.
