Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival is delighted to announce details of its enhanced official Live Stream for 2026, giving those who cannot attend the world-famous procession in person the opportunity to experience the magic of Bridgwater Carnival from wherever they are.
For 2026, we are going BIGGER & BETTER.
The Carnival has made a significant investment in both money and resources to enhance the quality, content and scale of our Live Stream. Our aim is to create much more than simply a camera showing the procession – we want to provide viewers at home with a complete Carnival evening experience and a real sense of what makes Bridgwater Carnival so special. The enhanced programme will begin at 6pm on Saturday 7 November 2026, approximately one hour before the procession is expected to reach our main town centre broadcast location.
FROM 6PM – THE CARNIVAL BUILD-UP
Coverage will begin at 6pm with a specially produced build-up to the main procession.
During this first hour, viewers can expect a mixture of pre-recorded and live content, including behind-the-scenes footage captured throughout Carnival Day, features looking at the history and traditions of Bridgwater Carnival, the preparations taking place before the procession and roaming live footage from locations along the route. This enhanced coverage is designed to take viewers beyond the procession itself and provide a much greater insight into the enormous amount of work, dedication and tradition behind Bridgwater Carnival.
APPROX. 7PM – FULL LIVE TOWN CENTRE COVERAGE
At approximately 7pm, as the procession reaches the town centre, coverage will join our main presenter for FULL LIVE COVERAGE from the heart of the action. Viewers will then be able to enjoy the spectacular illuminated carts, walking entries and performers as they make their way through Bridgwater. Following the procession, our Live Stream team also hopes to continue coverage through to the traditional squibbing display, subject to procession timings and operational requirements on the night.

The official Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival 2026 Live Stream will be available exclusively to Live Stream access code holders.
Each purchased code provides access to the official online coverage on Carnival Day.

Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival is a registered charity and staging an event on the scale of Bridgwater Carnival comes with significant and ever increasing costs each year. The procession that the public enjoys is only possible because of an enormous amount of work, investment and support behind the scenes. For 2026, we have taken the decision to invest significantly in our Live Stream product, committing additional financial resources, production time, equipment and people to provide a substantially enhanced experience for those watching from home. We believe it is important that the Live Stream represents the scale and quality of the event itself, and we hope the public will recognise the considerable investment being made to achieve this.
At £5 during our Early Bird promotion, we believe the enhanced Live Stream represents excellent value, while also providing viewers with an opportunity to directly support Bridgwater Carnival.
For those who are unable to attend the procession in person, we sincerely hope you will support the enhanced official Live Stream by purchasing a code rather than relying on unofficial coverage elsewhere.
