Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival Committee is calling on local performers to take to the stage as auditions open for the 2026 Bridgwater Carnival Concerts.
A long standing and popular part of Bridgwater’s carnival celebrations, the concerts will take place this year at The McMillan Theatre, Bridgwater, providing a new stage (for one year only) for one of the town’s most loved entertainment traditions.
Auditions will be held at The McMillan Theatre on Tuesday 19 May 2026 at 7pm, with organisers encouraging performers from across the area to come forward and take part.
The concerts showcase a wide range of local talent and the committee is looking for performers in a variety of categories including singers, dancers, comedians, musicians, variety acts and entertainers.
The Bridgwater Carnival Concerts 2026 will run from Sunday 4 October to Thursday 15 October 2026 at The McMillan Theatre, forming an important part of the town’s carnival season and providing audiences with a varied programme of live entertainment.
Lewis White, Publicity Director for Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival, said:
“Bridgwater Carnival Concerts have been entertaining audiences for many years and they provide a fantastic opportunity for local performers to showcase their talent. This year we are delighted that the concerts will be staged at The McMillan Theatre, which offers a wonderful venue for both performers and audiences.
