Local carnivalite and BBC Radio Somerset presenter, Andy Bennett, was part of the Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival team who built the Jubilation cart for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
From the very start of the project right up to the prestigious pageant appearance on the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend in June, Andy filmed the key moments of the Jubilation journey and recorded interviews with some of the characters involved.
After sifting through hours of footage, Andy has produced this special hour long documentary titled ‘From Parkway to the Palace – The Story of the Jubilee Cart’.
