A fantastic evening of auditions has seen a number of talented performers selected to appear as Front of Curtain Acts during the 2026 Bridgwater Carnival Concerts.
Held at The McMillan Theatre, the auditions showcased an impressive variety of local talent, with singers, dancers and performance groups all taking to the stage in front of the selection panel.
The successful acts chosen to perform during this year’s concerts are: Megan Brunton, Emily Palmer, Fox King Dance Academy, Paige Brunton, Ella & Bella, Starstruck, Jessie G, Viva, Melanie Wedgbury, Sienna Courtney, Charlotte Couch, Daisy Mae Lee, Amanda Nolan (Reserve)
Organisers praised the outstanding standard of performances throughout the evening and thanked everyone who auditioned.
Lewis White, Publicity Director for Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival, said:
“The standard of auditions this year was absolutely superb and we would like to thank everyone who took part.
There was an incredible variety of talent on display and selecting the final line up was extremely difficult. The Front of Curtain performances are always a popular part of the Carnival Concerts and we are looking forward to welcoming these acts back to perform alongside our Carnival Clubs in October.”

The 2026 Carnival Concerts will take place at The McMillan Theatre from Sunday 4 October to Thursday 15 October 2026.
