Tony Rudge, chief steward for Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival Committee, said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank every act for taking the time to apply and audition for our concerts. Once again receiving so much interest proves that the Bridgwater carnival concerts are as popular as ever.
“The standard of the acts was the highest ever, and the judges had a very difficult task in choosing which 13 should go forward to the big event later this year. For those acts that didn’t make it through this time, we would love to see them back auditioning for next year’s event.”
