COMMENTARY

As you will be aware Bridgwater Carnival 2020 as we know it has been cancelled due to the pandemic; as a consequence of this we have decided to hold a virtual carnival this year, we have asked the entrants to nominate their favourite carts that have appeared in our procession between 1982 & 2019 (the years we have film footage of) and made this into a DVD. A selection of the carts selected will appear in the 2021 calendar.
The film will be compiled professionally by Maniac Films our normal film company.
The DVD will be a one off and somewhat a collectors item. As we don’t need a film crew this year the production costs are reduced allowing us to sell the DVD for £10 a copy plus p&p.
As there has been some requests for this DVD which sold out completely we have managed to run off a few limited extra copies.
