Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival – the UK’s oldest carnival

In 1978 the late Jim Bailey negotiated on behalf of B.P. Oil the presentation of a trophy, with this cup B.P. also donated 100 gallons of diesel.
Unfortunately since the closure of Great Western Oils in Salmon Parade clubs have been unable to receive the diesel prize.
