Bridgwater Carnival Committee is holding an open day at the Carnival Centre to talk to anyone who is interested in raising money for their charity, club or society by volunteering on carnival day.
Mike Dodden, Collection Director for the Committee, said: “This open day is a new idea to help us talk to more people about the opportunities on offer; It’s really about finding out how we can help each other. We already support lots of local charities and groups, and receive plenty of help in return, but there is always more we can do. This drop in is open to anyone who is part of a charity or not for profit group, whether they have been involved with the Carnival before or not, who would like to find out a little bit more about what we can offer.”
The open day is on Sunday 3 June at the Carnival Centre on the High Street in Bridgwater from 10am until 3pm.
