Twenty six potential front of curtain acts for the 2017 Carnival Concerts auditioned for the thirteen available spaces at Bridgwater Town Hall on Tuesday 23rd May.
Forty four judges were present and were very impressed by the very high standard of those auditioning, making their job all the more difficult.
The final acts chosen were in no particular order:

- Catrin Hudson – Vocalist
- Devon Salinas – Guitarist
- Fox King Dance Academy – Dance Group
- Nathan Ball – Vocalist
- Tanya & Gemma – Vocal Duo
- Anne Philcox – Vocalist
- Viva La Diva – Showgirls
- Jake Godfrey – Vocalist
The Chairman summed up by thanking everyone for attending, acts and judges; with a final word to the acts not to be despondent if they were not successful and we hope they will try again in future years.
