Mike Crocker, president for Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival Committee, said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank every act for taking the time to apply and audition for our concerts. Once again receiving so much interest proves that the Bridgwater carnival concerts are as popular as ever.
“The standard of the acts was the highest ever, and the judges had a very difficult task in choosing which ones should go forward to the 12 night show later this year. For those acts that didn’t make it through, we would love to see them back auditioning for next year’s concerts.”
