Starkey Cup Handover From Gremlins CC To Huckyduck CC

During a special ceremony in Bridgwater over the weekend, Huckyduck CC from Coleford formally handed over the county cup to members of Gremlins CC.

The two popular carnival clubs jointly won the coveted Starkey Cup (county cup) after being crowned in November as overall champions of the 2014 Somerset County Guy Fawkes Carnivals Association circuit with their stunning entries Brunel’s Kingdom – The Shipyard (Gremlins CC) and In Flanders Fields (Huckyduck CC).

The formal handover of the cup took place at the shed of Gremlins CC and involved members from both clubs who celebrated and relived their successes from 2014.

Congratulations to both clubs, and we hope they had a brilliant time!

Bridgwater Gangs & Features Donate £1200 to Local Nursing Home Bridgwater Gangs and Features carnival clubs have donated £1,205 to the town’s Avalon Nursing Home Residents Fund following the 2024 Old Folks Shows.
