Matty, a 17 year old boy from South Devon, is a wonderfully complex character who has had many medical challenges in his life and faced these with strength and determination. In many ways Carnival has saved Matty in moments when he needed distraction, before operations and at scary times.   

2024 BRIDGWATER GUY FAWKES CARNIVAL – ‘IN NUMBERS’ 1) 2024 is the 419th anniversary of The Gunpower Plot, and the origins of Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival can be traced back to when Guy Fawkes and his fellow conspirators failed in their attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament in
