SANTA’S BOOST FOR LOCAL CHARITIES Bridgwater charities have benefitted from a seasonal rush of goodwill. The Christmas Sleigh collection organised by the Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival Committee raised a whopping £4,412. For a fortnight in the lead up to Christmas, the sleigh toured the town, including stopoffs at local supermarkets
Matty, a 17 year old boy from South Devon, is a wonderfully complex character who has had many medical challenges in his life and faced these with strength and determination. In many ways Carnival has saved Matty in moments when he needed distraction, before operations and at scary times.
